Eugene brings a wealth of experience to his new role providing strategic leadership in planning and implementing youth development programs to meet our mission: “Enable all young people to reach their full potential.”
Eugene comes to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Fauquier with a distinguished 20-year career in youth development and mental health serving as a Behavioral Coach and Special Education Instructional Assistant at Westmoreland County Schools; Residential Manager and Counselor at ChildHelp USA; Basketball Coach for Varsity/JV/AAU; and most recently Behavioral Health Technician at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Washington, DC.
Eugene is the father of two teenagers. He enjoys spending time with his family, attending church, coaching, volunteering in the community and working with children. Eugene also likes to attend sporting events, cooking, traveling, working out and visiting the beach.
His goal is to influence, support and encourage youths to become contributing members of their communities. “I believe young people need role models to support them on their journey and to encourage them to be models for others they may come across on their path in life.”
We welcome Eugene to our team! The Boys & Girls Clubs of Fauquier is confident that Eugene’s unique and specialized background along with his interests and goals will provide our Club members with the leadership necessary to ensure their success individually and collectively.
