BGCF Summer Camp
Boys & Girls Club camps offer an intense opportunity for bonding with others while learning about community, service, leadership and academics. During summer break, kids are provided with a safe, fun environment where every game — even unorganized pickup games on the court — lets them practice working with others, problem-solving skills and communication. Age appropriate art projects, prevention programs, service projects and discovery work let youth explore their world in hands-on ways while making friends and developing skills.

Current Members Priority Enrollment: Now – March 31st
Open Enrollment to Public: April 1st
What happens at BGCF Summer camp:
We visit local parks, pools, and go hiking. We go for daily walks throughout town and bike/scooter rides along the town “Greenway.” At the club, the children participate in “Summer Brain Gain,” art projects, “Triple Play” healthy habits program, and prevention programs.
Special summer programs include:
Summer Brain gain:
Each week of Summer Brain Gain has a different theme of learning activities for elementary school, middle school and high school students. Youth engage in a process of learning through discovery, creative expression, and group work. This program helps children maintain their academic skills throughout the summer.
Themed units explore: Heroes, Collaboration, The Ocean, Reptiles and Outer Space. To expand learning, last year we took field trips to the Air and Space Museum and the National Zoo!
Meet My Community:
Our “Meet My Community” program introduces our club kids to important resources in the community, such as local businesses, public safety and government, in order to inspire academic achievement and career development. The program also introduces the community to our kids and what the club does for the community.
