We are hiring for the following positions:

Unit Director (Warrenton Club)

Directs/manages overall daily operations of the designated Clubhouse with the primary concern for programs and service delivery, supervision and training of staff, facilities management, community relations and membership administration. 25-30 hours per week. Salary based on experience.

Experience : Four-year degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience is preferred. A minimum of two years work experience in a Boys and Girls Club or similar organization planning and supervising activities based on the developmental needs of young people, or equivalent experience. Demonstrated ability in personnel supervision, facilities management, and the recruitment and retention of key personnel. Strong communication skills, both oral and written. Ability to recruit, train, supervise, and motivate staff. Demonstrated ability in working with young people, parents and community leaders.

Sports and Recreation Coordinator (Warrenton & Bealeton Clubs)

Advocates for the sports, fitness and recreation component of programs through Boys & Girls Clubs of Fauquier (BGCF). Promotes safety of members, quality in programs, and appearance of the program area at all times. Provides guidance and role modeling to members. Plans, organizes, and implements a range of program services and activities for members and visitors; initiates new programs under supervision of the Unit Director; develops service area programs; and provides periodic activity reports. Inventories all program equipment and supplies and makes recommendations concerning requisitions; maintains in good order all related supplies and equipment. Supervises members in program area.

Experience: Knowledge of youth development with a minimum of two-years experience in planning and implementing recreation youth programs/coaching. Strong communications skills; oral, written, and presentation. Ability to motivate youth and manage behavior problems. Ability to recruit, train, supervise, and motivate volunteers. Ability to deal with the general public in a professional, courteous manner. Ability to plan and implement quality programs for youth. Ability to organize and supervise members in a safe environment.

How can I participate?

Everybody can participate in Give Local Piedmont! Individuals can make online donations to participating nonprofits. The minimum donation is $10. All donations made on May 2nd to the Boys & Girls Club of Fauquier have the opportunity to earn bonus dollars. New this year: donors can schedule their donations up to one week ahead of the event, beginning April 25th!
