Cell
Phones for the Kids?
The BGC has found a creative way to continue to raise needed
funds to support our cause in helping the children of our
county. We have recently begun placing cell phone donation
boxes at various locations throughout the county. The idea
is for those who have old or unused cell phone sitting around
collecting dust to just bring them in to one of the drop off
locations, in return the phones could earn the BGC up to $50
each.

hand, we are in need of volunteers to assist with all aspects of
demolition and renovation. If you would like to
participate in this rewarding project, to help establish a place
to help further the development of the children of our

Tournament - Big Success!!!
The 2008 Boys and Girls Club Golf Tournament netted $12,000!!!
A big thank you to all who partnered, sponsored and participated
this year!

Annual Fall Sizzle at Crescendo's
Put on
your chefs hat and get your oven mitts ready as we gear
up for the Second Annual Fall Sizzle at Crescendo's.
This event will offer training on special cooking
techniques, food sampling and auctioning off of grills,
etc.
Postponed due to bad weather forecasted... rain date
to follow.
