The Board of Directors
for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Fauquier to name their Campaign
Team.
July 2007:
Samuel Parker of Marshall Bank
has agreed to serve as Campaign
Chair and Board Members Jerry Wood
and Amy Gable have agreed to
Co-Chair the Lead Gifts Committee.

June 2007:
Honorary Campaign Chairs Hunton
Tiffany, Duke Yowell and Fred
Wayland have agreed to serve. These
three well-known community leaders
bring knowledge and experience to
the proposed $4.1 million project.

May 2007: The Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls
Clubs of Fauquier is currently reviewing and discussing the
Planning/Feasibility Study successfully conducted last year and
now relating to a proposed Capital & Endowment Campaign. Those
participating as part of the Study Committee and deserving the
Club's thanks and appreciation were Board President Jerry Wood,
1st Vice President Charles "Buddy" Curtis, 2nd Vice President
Sheri Murphy along with community leaders Charles Brooks, Andy
Budd, Anne Hall, Shelly Hazel, Alvin Henry, Frank Ramey, Decker
Tapscott, Annie-Marie Walsh and Executive Director Jon Gregory.
The results of the Study and its evaluation is assisting the
Board in putting together a final action plan that addresses the
growth and future of the Boys and Girls Club as well as
validating the importance of the Club as a vital organization in
our community. Within the next few months you will read, see and
hear the unfolding of this exciting new plan about the Boys and
Girls Club of Fauquier. Additional information about the Boys &

November 2006: After
much review, the Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Clubs
of Fauquier have unanimously agreed upon hiring Ike Snell of Snell and
Associates as the spearhead organization for the soon
approaching Capital Campaign process.
